How do I get my rug edges to lie flat?

Rugs are rolled or folded for safe transit, so creases and curled edges are to be expected. Lay the rug flat, or reverse-roll and the marks will release within a few days.
Why does my rug look different than the photo?

Because the fibers lie in one direction, the rug appears lighter from one end and darker from the other, with the tone shifting as you move around it. Room lighting and screen settings can also affect how the color reads.
Why does my rug shed?

A little shedding is normal on a new rug, and it subsides within a few days as the loose fibers work their way out.We suggest vacuuming regularly without a beater bar to help it along.
Why does my rug smell?

A light scent is normal after a rug has been rolled and wrapped for shipping. Let air circulate through the room and it will fade within a few days.
How do I clean my rug?

Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile, not against it, and skip the beater bar. Blot spills rather than rubbing them. Natural fiber rugs should be shaken out to release dirt and debris, avoid wet cleaning.
